Nursing Services, provided by the Wayne Department of Health, are available every Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Totowa Public Library for the following services:

• Blood pressure checks

• Adult Immunizations

• TB (Mantoux) tests

• Periodic Health Screenings

• School Immunization Audits

• Communicable Disease Reports/Investigation

SMAC Blood Testing

SMAC blood testing-offered in spring April/May. Screening provides complete Cardiac risk profile while measuring 23 different elements found in the blood. The screening is instrumental in detecting various diseases in their early state. Fee is approximately $30. Additional testing available for PSA, Lyme, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, typing and TSH.

Child Health Conference (Well Child Clinic)

The Child Health Conference is open to Totowa residents with no health insurance. This program provides infants, preschool and school aged children (until their 18th birthday) with a full examination and age appropriate immunizations performed by a licensed pediatrician. TB testing is also available. Dental Health Clinic

The Dental Clinic is provided to children and adults of the Borough of Totowa ages 5 and up with no dental insurance. Services are provided by a licensed Dentist.
